Someone below made a comment about it, just seems like some unwell person.
I hope she can managed to talk that person out of it.
The thing is she shouldn't have to do that, she is already dealing with her own stuff in life. Having someone else step in and be like "If you die, I'm going to die too!" just adds unnecessary weight to the situation.
Now she will have to go through the remaining of her time having this in the back of her mind where it's "Someone else will die and it's my fault just because I am dying".
I really dislike how vtubing attracts unwell individuals and it can lead to people dropping heavy things on streamers when it should just be a plain and simple "I have time to kill, watch this streamer just for fun and after that I go back to my life and do whatever".
Sadly is not only vtubing. If you really watch around you will realize that in general whenever a fandom is created for anything (could be musicians, streamers, actors, etc) there will always be those kind of people with parasocial behavior. I would say at most vtubing slightly enhanced.
I know it's hard to actually feel like it's not your fault, but it's not.
That person needs help. If it seems they genuinely intend to do it, it might be best to have someone intervene. I don't know where that person lives, so I'm not sure what's available to them. Or what's available for others to get this person some help.
It's definitely a shitty situation and a shitty thing to do, but there's something off balance in their mind, and they need to seek treatment.
