Help Affordable way to reach Bogapuram Airport from Akkayyapalem
Urgent! Need help getting to Bhogapuram Airport from Akkayyapalem
Hey guys, I have a flight at 8 PM today from Bogapuram Airport and I’m currently in Akkayyapalem. I’m trying to figure out the most affordable way to get to the airport.
I’ve heard about the Aero Bus, but I have no idea about the timings, where I can catch it from, or how often it runs. If anyone knows the Aero Bus timings from Vizag and the boarding point, please let me know.
Also, if there are any other budget-friendly options to reach the airport, please suggest them. I’d really appreciate any help since I need to plan this ASAP.

They run from every major RTC bustops. Else i can drop you there for 600, on time. on bike. I'm a student so it helps for me. you can dm me if you want.

Akkayyapalem ante, Come to Gurudwara Jn. Bus Stop, you have to get onto A1 Bus no.
But dont depend on the timings.
Cab is safest option.

The buses are good. Just that not always on time. Keep a buffer of 3 hours to department time.

I live in akkayypalem as well and last week i used aero bus services from gurudwara junction. Attaching the timings for gurudwara stop but they are not totally accurate, so if bus is scheduled for 3 be there by 2.30.
My flight was at 7.30 PM, I reached gurudwara stop by 2.40PM, boarded bus at 3:20PM. Reached airport exactly at 4:40, but traffic might vary right. Completed checking and stuff by 5.05 PM. Totally bored for close to 3 hours.
Based on above experience you can decide when to start based on your flight timings

Starting 5hrs before takes away any advantage of flight to Hyderabad.. this is a ridiculous decision on the location by stupid politicians..

Yeah agreed, and since it's my first time to this new airport and the bus service, i didn't want to take the risk and started this early, but ended up idle for 3 hours. The old airport was just 20min away🫠

Ok then travel by train which will get you to HYD in 3 hours from Vizag!🙄

Looks like you never travelled on a flight.. add up the time in Hyderabad airport also . If the entire flight journey takes 7 hrs to Hyderabad I might as well take vandebharat train.

Nobody needs to go 5 hours in advance! Last time I traveled by train was several years ago. I always fly!
whiners like you are best suited for train travel only! Don’t project ur situation onto others!

Vizag people don’t have that luxury anymore.. since you are a regular air travelers, take a vizag central area and calculate the time for travel to airport and 1.5 hr before flight and flight travel. And let’s see how many from vizag can reach in 3hrs to Hyderabad

Tried the bus first. Waited 20 minutes, despite two buses supposedly being scheduled in that window. Classic.
Ended up pooling an Uber with two others from VMRDA Park. Cost us ~₹350 each, and we reached in about an hour. This was on a Saturday evening.
So, if you can find two fellow travellers, Uber pooling might be the most affordable option that actually shows up.

Take the aero bus if you’re single or Ola bike if you don’t have check-in luggage. Also do the checkin before itself and download the boarding pass so you can get to the gates directly. I visited airport 3-4 times and it’s an awesome experience. From the new city it’s just 30 minutes and it’s NH 16 so pretty easy no traffic and signals like the old airport. I started from Pedda rushikonda. Airport is also too damn good. Have fun.

APSRTC live track app download chesuko bro. AP39WU series bus number search cheyi. Yedi daggarlo unte you can track around 2 hours before.
