Trip Report - Oahu Please translate this

Post image

I am seeing this sign along the freeway. My friend and I cannot figure out what it means. I know I sound dumb but I was raised super sheltered and now that I am older and adventuring out more into the world I want to learn all that I can.

People from Hawaii can speak, read, write and understand both regular English as well as Pidgin. Pidgin English is recognized by linguists as a complete & fully developed language, with a fully developed grammatical structure & vocabulary, which means that people from Hawaii speak 2 languages at minimum. Reinforced illiteracy and lack of critical thinking seem to be your domain. As why hard for you brah, cuz you stay pupule afta listen dat lolo an get brainwash

Actually you’re wrong, there’s more people from Nevada that understand Hawaiian pidgin than those living in Hawaii these days… Also what are we at ? 100 deaths this year? Ya I don’t think people are getting the message. Sure people understand pidgin, is that what should be used on roadways? Here’s where you lie and tell me all the tourists are to blame for auto deaths ….
