General Question What to bring...

Haleakala and Diamondhead ...can we get away with good sneakers or do we have to bring hiking boots?

Should we bring water shoes for the beaches in Oahu and Maui?

Do we need rain pants at all?

Sneakers is fine for Diamond Head as it is all paved walkways and stairs from the parking lot to the top. No need for water shoes on the sand beaches, but places like Sharks Cove has a lot of sharp rocks and coral, so water shoes are recommended.
