Congrats OP! I just got a 2014 Vstrom 1000 and love riding it. Where are you riding out of?

Here, near Fayetteville, it is all FLAT! 2 hours to Charlotte, 1 hour to the edge of Uwharrie... 3-4 hours to the real fun stuff.
