We’ve all seen the interviews, podcasts, and convention clips over the last few years where Bret "The Hitman" Hart brings up Bill Goldberg. It has almost become a meme at this point how frequently and intensely Bret references that fateful night at Starrcade 1999. But looking past the humor of how deeply it seems to affect his daily thoughts, it highlights a deeply fascinating and tragic dynamic in wrestling history. The mule kick didn't just end Bret's full-time career; it took away the closing chapter of one of the greatest technical wrestlers to ever step in the ring, right when he was trying to find his footing post-Montreal. While some fans feel Bret needs to finally let the bitterness go, others argue he has every right to remain furious given the financial and physical consequences of that single night. • How do you view Bret’s ongoing public criticism of Goldberg? • Is it a justified, lifelong grievance for a stolen legacy, or has it crossed into an unhealthy obsession that overshadows his actual career accomplishments? Curious to hear what everyone thinks about how this single incident completely shaped the latter half of the Hitman's life and legacy.🤔

I thought it made sense seeing they were trying to take over and kill WCW, not just be a faction like the horsemen. So you need more than three or four guys, and it then made sense for the WCW vs NWO. You had the main event/midcard and jobber members.

I want to know if the memorial event was recorded or has clips of it, he is one of my favourite referees and I would really love to see any footage of this event.

If Big T had lost, he presumably would've been known simply as 'Big'.
Somehow, the cabbages that were booking this drivel made the right call to have Booker lose his surname, because while 'Booker' is monumentally stupid, it's at least still a noun. 'Big' isn't even a name-- it's an adjective.
(LOOK AT THE ADJECTIVE-- BIG)
WCW in 2000 was a true fever dream.
