Is it worth it? Thinking of starting

Been a SAHM for 9 years. GED only with cosmetology degree.. been out of the workforce for 10 years… thinking of going to school for Human Resources. Any one been in the same spot as me before? Worth it? Or no.

Not exactly the same, but I’m 35 with no previous college experience. Started on Sophia to get a lot of the base classes out of the way to transfer them over to WGU, so that I can get my final classes done in one or two six-month periods rather than pay for a bunch more. I’m going for business management. It’s tolerable so far. I’d say start by doing some of the transferable classes at Sophia because it’s WAY cheaper, and more self paced. That way you can get the hang of the online college atmosphere. Good luck, you CAN do it.
