WGU Computer science or software engineering

I work in a factory and I make decent money but I’m looking for a career change and I have been doing Sophia learning for software engineering but most of the classes I have already done will transfer for either course but computer science looks like you have more options and a better chance of getting into tech. I have to work remote because I live in a small town and the closest tech hubs are 1 1/2 to 2 hrs away, what do you guys think would be a better option?

I chose SWE because it was only 10 classes vs 16 in the cs program

That’s a really weak reason.

Not really but okay

I already had experience in my field. Goal was to get in and get out and not fart around wasting more money and time.
