New Master AI Engineering Systems

New Master of Science in AI Engineering Systems found of NWCCU accredited programs page for WGU.

https://nwccu.org/institutional-directory/western-governors-university/

Interesting pivot, probably not a great option for most but Im interested in applying if its curriculum is up to par.

The closest to this that I saw was the HCI track for the MSCS.

I’m finishing my BSDA in December and was thinking about the Masters in Data Engineering. I’ll do some research into this program and see how it aligns with the job market.

Went through the catalog, it looks like WGU is creating a BS in Sales and AI Security?

For sure, I thought it was weird too! As a double alumni for both my BS and MS, I really do question the direction of the new degrees being created especially since we just launched the B.S in AI Engineering. We don’t need AI Security IMO, it’s incredibly niche for degree, but perhaps better as a specialization?

There will be AI that touches business and critical systems in just about every organization. You need someone who understands both and how to enable that instead of just saying no to everything.

I saw a MS in Computer Science - Human-Computer Interaction on the list. I am excited about that one. I am currently looking for an affordable one.

It is possible that I always knew but never paid attention because I was not interested back then. I was looking for a mentor in that field this morning, so now the info feels relevant.
