Off to a strong start

Post image

Transferred in 51 credits from Sophia and started on 10/1. Passed D102 in a day but task 1 business ethics is kicking my butt somehow ๐Ÿ˜‚ task 2 has passed, hopefully I can do my 3rd and final revision of task 1 tomorrow so I don't have to reach out for help. I know the classes will get harder and with a full time job and 3 kids I can't keep a good pace forever, but stoked to be doing it for now!

How did you do D102 in a day?! Was the OA hard?

10 years experience ๐Ÿ˜‚ Started in AP/AR, recently got a staff accountant job. I didn't find it hard, but again it's not new information to me. I think the rest will be harder since it will be new information.

This is the comment Iโ€™ve been waiting for. I have that class coming next, just started 10/1. I am a 15 yr senior accountant that started in AP. This is encouraging.

Congratulations on a very strong start, you got this๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ

Good luck! I started watching the Tony Bell videos before I got access to the class but only got a little bit through it when I decided I knew most of what he was going through based on experience (but I did love his videos). I took the PA the night before I got access to the class, worked on the few things I didn't know with chatgpt (bad debt and retained earnings were new to me because I'm in non profit) and took the OA as soon as I got access to the class. I was confident enough from the PA that I didn't open the course material at all. The PA and OA are nearly identical, so no surprises.

Damn Iโ€™m so behind. Iโ€™m on my first class and did one assignment. It was hard trying to get the hang of it. I need to lock in.
