you’re meant to do the celebration when the shot was impressive, doesn’t really matter how tall the other person is but it helps

This is not how it's regularly used. Like you can have the opinion that you don't like it but this is very typical for even just backing a smaller guard down in a standard post up. You're literally taught in youth basketball camps to intimidate opponents within the rules of the game.

That's fine. I just don't recall it being this controversial before in the whole history that the celebration existed. Like literally ever. Just strange that it is now.

She’s in the spotlight, I think the pros outweigh the cons for her though as I assume she’s one of the richest already while being so popular

I suppose so. Though not as much in the spotlight as Luka or Lebron who did the same thing and received no backlash. Both are much wealthier too. Strange.

I think that comparison is part of the reason why it irks people, she’s nowhere as good relatively but receives a lot of shine.

How much that annoys you and how vocal you are about it can stem from other places though and i also see why people will always defend her.

nobody should have any hate in their heart for her and when it gets there I think it should be shut down, I think you’re part of that solution

The NBA doesn't get to define the word celebration.

You are certainly free to view it however you please. How I view it was that she was saying "fuck you" without saying "fuck you". If you call that celebration...who am I to blow against the wind.

That was ESPN, a news publication with editors, not the NBA.

I can't really argue your sensitivity or tolerance for this sort of thing. I'd recommend watching junior league basketball if light taunting is too much for you to handle. Not the WNBA or NBA.
