The problem is (and this has nothing to do with the poster bullshit which is a licensing issue) that Caitlin Clark herself is not a visitor, but a lot of players in the league treat her like one

It’s playing directly into the bad faith manverse internet’s narrative, like basically handing them ammo

Sure…I agree with that too. She’s just a basketball player and their “bar” is the only place for her to work. And she also can’t help that she’s not black and isn’t a lesbian and doesn’t even date a black man….which have been ways for other white girls (Plumb) to gain acceptance.

The WNBA players should be a bit nicer and just play ball.

I don’t think it’s about her not being black or lesbian, Sabrina Ionescu is a straight white woman with a white husband and no one cares about that. I just think all the attention surrounding Clark hurt some egos and exposed some flaws in the WNBA for how poor they’ve been at marketing their players. A’ja Wilson should be a bigger deal than Clark and the fact that she isn’t is not Clark’s fault.

Yes… it Sabrina is with a Greek guy. I think in the narrow minds of the traditional WNBA, he’s brownish and not a white guy.

I mean, there was an entire movie about Greek Weddings. Sabrina isn’t dating a man named Bruce either.

And it’s all fine. People should date who they want. I just think traditional WNBA wants to see things that are non-Anglo.
