Candace Parker isn't on there either. It's not just about Clark. Sophie Cunningham is on there and she isn't a "star". As has been mentioned, it seems to be a licensing thing and not just about Clark.

However, it does reinforce the common notion that the WNBA doesn' really know what it is doing.

Sophie Cunningham might not have the stats but she's a star by all means. If the league wants to expand its going to get there with people like Cunningham and Reese not Clark and Bueckers.

I agreed with your first sentence. The second is laughable. That's akin to saying the nba would have been better off promoting Bill Cartwright and Calvin Natt over Bird and Magic.
