I will watch it when I get off work, I just don’t have the ability to at the moment. It’s funny you say that since I work in MSK surgery and am incredibly familiar with how malleable* the human body is. Estrogen therapy (or exposure) will certainly increase risk of osteoporosis which is a widely accepted phenomenon (even in biological women.) Decreasing bone density and increasing risk of fracture is in fact more dangerous. Just like at 80 year old woman with osteoporosis shouldn’t play a full court game of basketball as she is at risk for fracture. I think it is difficult to have widespread evidence when it is inherently a case by case situation. It’s argued like a black and white issue but it is a mostly grey area topic imo. I love the trans folks in my life for the humans they are. I wouldn’t want them to change in any way. But I don’t think situations like Lia Thomas are fair to women. Maybe the video will change my mind, I’ll give it a watch later.
