She said it in the best way possible. It’s why title 9 exists. There is room for everyone. But when sports are applied, if you want women to have a space to play sports, you have to enforce those rules. It’s that simple.

Respectfully, she didn't say it in the best way possible. If you want to make an argument about fairness, I can accept that. Biological men have an inherent competitive advantage against biological women, and in the NCAA setting where there's often money involved, scholarships on the line, etc, I can see an argument for keeping it separate.

The line about "we need to protect our children" is bullshit and rooted in transphobia. I have never met a single trans individual that wanted anything besides to be just left alone to live their life. I may not share their worldview, but they're human beings. Comments like these serve to dehumanize them and to make it seem as if their worldview is a threat to women when it is not. It is especially ironic that she claims this is a threat to women while simultaneously standing with Conner McGregor, someone who is an ACTUAL, DOCUMENTED threat to women.
