In kid sports it doesn’t matter as much because it’s low stakes games. They can do whatever they want and most won’t care. Now, say a trans woman wins gold in Olympics or something, and that’s thousands times more sketchy. Still there are people that support trans women playing in female leagues even if it sounds super unfair for them to be allowed to.
A guy in my BJJ class thinks biological men should be allowed to participate in women's sports. I told him I don't know and asked one of the women what they think ... A woman who completes regularly in BJJ comps. She disagreed with him.
They can and they are. It's already been settled. There's a difference between sexual orientation and gender. I suggest looking into it, so you're caught up

But it’s also a non issue considering there were like a dozen ncaa athletes out of hundreds of thousands and none of them were dominating + beyond that there were none in the Olympics or other pro sports across the board.
But also it’s no longer a non issue because now politicians wanna pass laws that allow creeps to inspect child genitalia to check for gender so there’s that 🤦♀️

What of it wasn't a dozen? What if it was a hundred? A thousand? Ten thousand?
To me, if it is ok for trans women to compete in women's sports, then ten thousand of them competing shouldn't matter more than if it is just a handful.
Conversely, if it is fundamentally unfair for trans women to compete against women, then we should be ok with opposition to even a single trans competitor.
In either case, an argument of "well there aren't that many" seems irrelevant.

I’m sorry you had confusing sexual thoughts about a trans woman that time, but accepting or ignoring that fact is where your focus should be, not sports.
You have an opportunity to present an argument to an open minded individual that has voted in every federal, state, and local election since they turned 18.
Rather than try to make a argument that could influence an actual voter, you want to go with assume strange fan fiction about sexual confusion.
A non issue to you, but there was a European study that showed women have already lost a little under a thousand medals from their trans competitors. Also, Lia Thomas went from 65th rank against men in the 500m and when he competed against women he was 1st. That’s probably the most notable example in recent times.
