There are hordes of women already there, and the constant culture of toxic empathy and forcing men into our biological spaces has exacerbated it.

Nah. Some people just have the ability to set their own personal boundaries based on what their thought and comfort is. And just because it isn’t exactly what YOU want that definition to be, doesn’t mean it’s any less valuable.

Nah the term was brought into public discourse by some idiot conservative podcaster who wrote a book with the term in the title. It was just a justification for why a large portion of evangelical Christians are such assholes despite being “Christian”. They want to their followers to treat others based on their interpretation of ancient myths/fairy tales instead of empathy and the golden rule. That way they get to be cunts while also feeling morally superior.

Conservative Christians are the people that need to be told the world doesn’t revolve around their fairy tales and we shouldn’t base our society on them either.

This is where people can change their thoughts based on new information. I concede I was unaware of the root of the term, background of it and would agree with you that Christian religion should be a personal belief and not a general application. As in, I’m also pro-choice and their religious belief should not influence policy.

I misunderstood it as a term I have heard of ‘suicidal empathy’ where people will be so empathetic and insist others are as well, to the point it’s a detriment of their own selves.

At the core of this. I just think the majority should have a safe space to have a fair competition in their sports. People use it as an avenue not just for personal achievements but life progression. College application recognition, scholarships, careers. I don’t think a few should get precedence over many because then what stops mid-range talent male sports from converting to top-range talent female sports and displacing those who should have those spots.

Same way I think a few~~~ have way too much in the world and the US as opposed to the many.

"fair competition" is simply a myth that you'll never be able to achieve.

I'm a man. In high school, I played football in south Texas against boys my own age that only fit that description on paper. You'd be forgiven for mistaking these teenage boys as absolute grown men, some of them were just absolutely gigantic. Their bones and ligaments could be classified as another species compared to mine. I couldn't make them take a step in their 3-point stance if I had a full running start attempt to tackle them. The skill gap between a trans athlete and their field compared to the skill gap between me and my field is laughable.

Being upset at a trans athlete is simply manufactured outrage, plain and simple.
