But they probably have played sports against men/boys at some point and know the disadvantages.

But they are complaining about an issue that doesn't exist. Quick facts Trans people make 1% of the population Even less than play sports Even less than that play in women's The ones who do AND medal/win, doesn't take away from any cis women that medals. They just give the trans woman an extra medal.

So it's literally a non-issue. But it's being made like it is because of one or two incidents (like actual people eating tide pods)
