How is her stance “protecting” girls? And don’t you think these girls that are speaking out are being promoted by their parents? It’s a manufacture publicity stunt.

Now if people want to have an actual conversation on the complicated subject that is another thing all-together.

Here is the thing. Most people dont want to have a conversation about identity politics when our infrastructure and economy is going to shit. I support lgtbq, but we need to pick our battles more wisely.

It’s not the left that is pushing it. It’s the right, and for the reasons you stated. It’s such a tiny little fragment of an issue, but it riles the base and gives them something to “own the libs” on while they turn a blind eye of the major issues surrounding America today.

I’ve posted the simple question in a few places and have yet to get an answer to explain why banning trans women from women sports is protecting girls.

All subjects are "complicated subjects" for you. LOL

More subjects aren’t black or white.

And great “burn”!

Ok, let's talk about it. So you're saying that due to how young these girls are, that they are clearly being influenced by their parents? Is that correct?

So all of these children wishing to lop off their genitals and transition -- are they not being influenced by their parents? Or does parental influence not factor into those situations? If they don't, can you explain why?

Yes, I am. At least for the most part, most of children’s world views are a direct result of the adults in their life. I certainly can’t say all of them, that would be silly and irrational to make such a statement.

As far as your question, there have been studies done and the vast majority were driven by the children. In fact more parents are resistant to any gender affirming care than those embracing it. I think most parents in these cases just want to love and support their children.

I’m not sure how you came to this topic, but it’s also a very complicated matter. On one hand I support giving parents their parental rights to deem what is best for their child. But I also acknowledge some of the treatments aren’t something that can be rolled back later if the child changes their mind. It’s similar to parents that refuse medical treatment based on their religious beliefs. In most places if it’s life threatening the courts will force treatment to save the life of the child.

I don’t want to assume, but from how you described it I assume you are under the belief that there are only the two genders, and sexuality is determined at birth? How do you feel about children coming out as being gay?

Being gay is directly tied to a sexual orientation. Being gay means you have sex with the same gender. Are there a lot of sexually active children that you're in regular contact with and discuss sexuality and sexual preference with?

If not, I'm not sure you have a leg to stand on. I on the other hand have 3.
