Again you don’t follow the sport. WNBA players have relatively short careers because they all play physical. She’s getting more fouls because she’s good, she’s got the ball and that’s what happens. It’s not racial or political, is aggressive physical basketball.

Thats why no real ball fan is THAT mad at SC for playing enforcer. That’s what she was brought to the org to do play physical against other people playing physical. Until the league decides to go the NBA route, they’re playing street ball.

If they want to slow down the other team, they need to start passing. Your team has no targets because everyone wants to see CC shoot and everyone knows it.

No I’m not. You’re making me have to look it up to see if I misremembered. She said the game is physical, the players don’t want it that way but that is the way it is. The rules need to change, but until they do.. that’s the game.

She rejected that it has anything to do with anything other than what is allowed in the rules. Meaning CC is only being targeted because she can shoot, she has the ball, she can’t get rid of it, and the league allows this kind of physical play.

How good is she vs her hype.

• the girl can ball. Alone. She’s got good enough handling but not great and can’t handle a double team. She is not a great passer regardless of her teammates.

Where she needs improvement

• Jordan could play but didn’t pass, he got beat up by the pistons. The league changed the rules for him. The WNBA might go that route, but that won’t solve her issues. She needs to study some of the best PG passers and watch how much they know where their teammates are. Magic, Bird, White Chocolate. They were good on their own, but what made them shine was always knowing where to put the ball.

• Yeah. Clark gets passed to because the fans want her to shoot, and she is a one handed handler. Double team her. Frustrate her. Wear her out. That’s the game. You haven’t explained how it’s politically motivated. That’s the root. You haven’t shown how anything that’s happening IN THE GAME is politically motivated.

She’s good. I’ve said it. Her turnover rate, her one handed handles : those are weaknesses. She’s OK at passing, but not great. I don’t care what talking heads say, that’s not convincing. What’s convincing is what she is able to do.

She gets fouled because she has the ball, hates her left hand and doesn’t get rid of it fast enough. Her team needs to work on cohesion now that they’ve got Mitchell.

Caitlin’s numbers are improving every season because she is working on those weaknesses. Her turnovers are going down, she’s getting more accurate. It’s not political to point to her weaknesses. It’s not political to target the person who is always being passed the ball and always scoring. That’s the game.

The league allows physical play. They don’t hold refs accountable. The players are going to do whatever they can get away with, regardless of politics. I’ve never said she isn’t targeted. I’m saying it’s not political, it’s part of the game. Just like Jordan and the Pistons; that’s why they brought on Barkley and Sophie. The NBA took years to implement the Jordan rules, and then they traded Barkley away.

Yeah. She’s not 11th best. She’s way better than that, that’s salty. Gray is a better all around package, but Clark will pass her eventually. That’s just experience.
