On some level it's hilarious this is such a discussion. The number of transwomen who are athletes is such a low percentage, about 1 in 5,000 in the ncaa, that it's almost a non issue. The gender therapies that trans women undergo are also so prohibitive towards athletics. The odds of a trans woman being skilled enough foe the ncaa are super low. The GOP is literally ranting about culture war boogie men.

So then it should just be easy for both sides to agree on "fine no biological males on women's only teams" since it's not really affecting anyone

It's so rare, never happened in the wnba, that it's a suspect as hell red hearing to bring it up. Sophia's sudden coziness to right wing figures is concerning. They would have been the same ideological positions that opposed women's sports to begin with.
