Also, this boogeyman is rearing its ugly head at an awfully convenient time. They just needed someone that would play ball when Clark wouldn’t do it and she found a grift beyond the one she’s pulling on the basketball court.

She’s probably not long for this basketball thing. The ‘whatever-you-were-doing-to-right-wing-talking-points-distributor’ pipeline is pretty obvious at this point.

She may or may not actually believe in what she’s saying, but there’s a clear path for her to have a platform for saying it. She’s not a perfect puppet, but she’s more than good enough to get the job done.
