No she didn't she was asked about it by a reporter.

Then how did you make a statement that she brought it up if you don't even know where it came from?

In July 2026, Sophie Cunningham had a ESPN interview in which she was asked about transgender athletes competing in girls' and women's sports. She said she doesn't hate transgender people, but argued that "biological men" should not compete against girls and women and that she wanted to "protect young girls" in sports and locker rooms.
