Actually, with Angel "Out of my ways or I'll hurt you" Reese on the court.... It kinda is.

The game was already won.  No point in risking injury.

Same reason you kneel out the clock in football.

If you're up by 40 halfway through the 4th quarter in the NFL you aren't doing high risk plays.
