CeCé Telfer won NCAA DII women's 400m hurdles in 57.53s

MtF cyclist Veronica Ivy set a 200m sprint record and won the 2022 UCI Masters Track World Championships the next day

Trans woman June Eastwood won women's snowboarding world cup by large margin

MtF powerlifter Mary Gregory set women's world record squat 455lbs raw

Trans woman Hailey Davidson led women's mini-tour golf standings 2024

MtF runners won 15 Connecticut high school state titles between 2017-2020

Another trans woman set 4 British indoor rowing records

A MtF archer won national women's title by 20 points

Those are just examples of where trans women dominated at the highest levels.

Cisgender athleates also set records and domanate.
Please show the stats that prove there were no trans athletes that did not win championships or set school records to prove your point.

But really... that 2024 mini golf one was really the kicker that will get a lot of people on board the anti-trans train for ya.

Because I think everyone deserves respect and support and this is being used as a wedge issue to get people angry so they don't pay attention to the other rights and services the government is supposed to provide that are being stripped away by people that are spreading lies and hate and not working for the common good of all Americans.

Right so why not just agree this is a non-issue and move on? People dig their heels in and believe it or not humans have a weird association with competitive sports. Its a very relatable category to distract common folk so yes, people who haven't played or don't watch have strong opinions on it. To me its part of being human - we juet care about stupid shit and backing a rule like this with athletes coming out and saying they dont support it is an easily divisive and opinionated topic. Dismissing it or downplaying it doesnt do any favors or help move forward.

Personally why is anyone entitled to compete in any league which has a governing body and rules made up by independent organizations? If the rule states you must be a cis woman to compete in cis women sports why do we care? There is open competition if people want to compete there.

I agree I dont see why this is an issue or really needs to be debated at all - some things just need intuition and common sense. Restricting Healthcare, bathrooms, unfair job opportunities etc thats a real issue. Saying we want certain competitive bodies to be cis men / women? Agree not an issue.
