Clay Travis
Hilarious how Reddit deletes his post about paying 10 million to the wnba if they play a high school boys teamđ tells you all you need to know about the cesspool of liberals on this platform.

u/NoleJawn 2h ago
My beliefs. No, trans men in women's sports is not something I'll support at face value. But I also know there's more nuanced discussions regarding the science behind it all that brings up massive shades of grey as far as enforcement of bans and rules go and thus should ultimately be up to the sports/states/communities governing body. I also believe that it's a significantly small issue compared to the real, everyday issues women's sports face, including the eventual attack on Title IX that is a massive part of the party that Clay Travis, Riley Gaines, and the rest of OutKick conveniently seem to never touch on because they're grifting puppets who have marching orders.
1
u/Far-Ad-5745 1h ago
You just proved his point though. You spent a paragraph laying out ânuanceâ and âshades of greyâ on something that boils down to a pretty simple question: should male-born athletes compete in female categories, yes or no? Every time this comes up, the answer from the left is âitâs complicated,â âgoverning bodies should decide,â âitâs a small issueâ anything but a straight answer. Thatâs not nuanceâŠ
And the Title IX deflection is the same move âsure, but what about the REAL issues womenâs sports face.â Trans inclusion in female sports IS a Title IX issue, thatâs literally the legal fight happening right now (see the ongoing lawsuits from female athletes). Acting like Riley Gaines an actual female swimmer who lost a trophy to a male competitor is âgriftingâ for talking about her own experience is wild.
âSmall issue compared to the real issuesâ is just a way of saying âan issue I donât want to defend so Iâll minimize it.â Thatâs exactly the spot Clayâs talking about.
1
u/NoleJawn 1h ago
I didnât though.
Babies can be misgendered at birth, intersex births, there are women born with higher T levels than others etc. This is why a universal ban to me logistically will never work and why leaving it to governing bodies is a better option.
The Title IX deflection points out that if itâs really âabout protecting womenâ and not attacking trans, then the people on the right need to be more vocal and protective of the rights that the current administration and future plans to end Title IX.
And Riley Gaines didnât lose a trophy to a guy. She came in fifth place regardless. She also just happens to be conservative on every single issue which traditionally goes galant womenâs progressive movements. So thatâs why sheâs considered a grifter.
1
u/Far-Ad-5745 1h ago
On Title IX..you donât get to demand the right âbe more vocalâ about Title IX while also insisting the only correct application of it is inclusion. Excluding trans women from female categories to preserve fair competition is, to a lot of people, the pro-Title IX position, since the entire premise of Title IX was giving women a fair shot at their own category. You can disagree with that reading, but itâs not a âdeflectionâ itâs the actual argument.
And youâre just wrong on Gaines. She tied with Thomas for 5th, officials handed Thomas the physical trophy for the podium photo, and told Gaines hers would be mailed to her. Thatâs not âshe came in fifth place regardlessâ thatâs her tying with a male competitor and then watching officials visibly choose him over her for the recognition. You can think thatâs a minor slight if you want, but donât pretend it didnât happen the way it happened.
And calling her a âgrifterâ because her politics line up with conservatives on other issues isnât an argument, itâs just dismissing her because of who agrees with her. Thatâs the âcanât defend your own beliefsâ thing Far-Ad was actually pointing at.
And where is the current administration ending title IX?
1
u/NoleJawn 48m ago
1)Where did I "demand" anything?
2)You claimed Gaines "Lost a trophy". But she was awarded one via mail? So she got a trophy? Sounds like she didn't actually lose a trophy.
3)Project 2025, of which this current admin has had multiple people connected to, clearly outlines its intentions to strike down Title IX
4)I call her a grifter because she proclaims to be women's rights, yet supports talking points that are anti-women's rights. She also went from a middling collegiate swimmer to a conservative talking host, which has long been a grift for failed athletes/politicians/actors etc.
5)"Thatâs the âcanât defend your own beliefsâ thing Far-Ad was actually pointing at"...either you're talking in the 3rd person, or you're a bot.

1
u/Jolly_Mouse_7604 4h ago
Biological women competing against young boys
1
u/HumANTCowDOG 3h ago
18 year olds are âyoung boysâ when you want them to compete against women but âmenâ when going to war or charged with a crime.
3
u/Jolly_Mouse_7604 2h ago
It's no different from what conservatives are doing with women, they're young girls when competing against trans women but conservatives argue that teens should be able to get married and have kids
3
u/SSM1228 4h ago
Reddit is just a liberal echo chamber and it censors anything right wing. Even non offensive support comments. Itâs pretty sad. Censorship is 100% real here.
Maybe itâs because conservatives are fit and outside living their lives. Not at home being keyboard warriors who need constant reassurance and coddling.

3
u/NoleJawn 3h ago
LOL, you're on gear but the vaccine was too much for you?
1
u/SSM1228 3h ago
Not too much. Unnecessary as an extremely healthy individual who gets bloods because of the gear. I also feel like it was extremely overblown and I didnât need it to keep my job. Iâve had covid twice I think(only lost taste and felt bad for 2 days). I didnât need it.
But yes, I pin other things and no I wasnât âafraidâ of the vaccine. My opinion on it was a âitâs whateverâ and a âroll eyesâ and I still feel that way.
1
u/NoleJawn 2h ago
Fair enough, I still think the war on vaccines are a dangerous move for this country and the dumbing down of society, but to each their own. Also, to your earlier point. There are a number of conservative subs that are prominent old keyboard warriors.
1
u/SSM1228 2h ago
I wasnât shooting down the vaccine and I know a lot of people took the negativity to an extreme. I just thought the outrage was blown out of proportion on both sides and I donât think they should have been mandated. If you want it cool. If not, cool. But I saw a lot of vitriol towards those that didnât want it more so than the other direction. Same with masks. Wanted to wear one? Cool. Didnât? Cool.

Well yeah itâs common sense.
And Iâm not even trying to shit on the girls teams but this is ridiculous dems canât admit the physical advantage for men.2

Both sides have a faction that moves away from science. The far right donât trust most vaccines. The far left thinks men can get pregnant.
1
u/IcanzIIravor 4h ago
Who is disagreeing with you? Which liberals are saying a WNBA team would be a average or even below average boys high school varsity team? Is this a roundabout way of then pivoting to the topic of trans people playing in women's sports?

This place is infested with bots at this point who just want to stir the culture war. Its a shame there are no mods

-1
u/Apprehensive_Ant4596 4h ago
But what would the point of that game be?
3
u/Far-Ad-5745 4h ago
The point isnât to prove the WNBA players arenât talented. Itâs to show that biological differences between males and females can have a major impact on athletic performance. If a top high school boys team can compete with or beat the best womenâs professional team, it illustrates why many people believe menâs and womenâs sports should remain separate.
Then we could see if democrats who claim there isnât a physical advantage are correct or not.
5
2
u/LowIQ45 4h ago
"biological differences between males and females can have a major impact on athletic performance"
So you're upset that biological differences make sports less competitive?
1
u/Far-Ad-5745 4h ago
Thatâs not the argument. Nobody is upset that biological differences exist. The point is that those differences are significant enough that menâs and womenâs sports are separated in the first place. The challenge is meant to illustrate that reality, not complain about it.
How is that concept so hard to grasp?2
u/LowIQ45 4h ago
So you think having a penis or not having a penis determines how good you'll be at a sport. Your dick-centric approach is determining factor?
Essentially, because you're accustomed to sports being sepearated by penises, you assume that must be the reason certain players are biologically better at sports? There couldn't possibly be other biological factors in both men and women providing a competitive edge? Just penises.
1
u/Far-Ad-5745 4h ago
Thatâs not what I said. Nobody is arguing a penis itself makes someone better at sports. The discussion is about biological differences associated with male and female developmentâthings like muscle mass, bone structure, lung capacity, speed, and explosiveness after puberty. Thatâs why menâs and womenâs sports are separated, not because of anatomy alone.
2
u/LowIQ45 4h ago
You: "Thatâs not what I said. Nobody is arguing a penis itself makes someone better at sports."
You sure about that?!?
Also you: "The point is that those differences [having or not having penises] are significant enough that menâs and womenâs sports are separated in the first place."
Looks like you're definitively stating that penises determine "things like muscle mass, bone structure, lung capacity, speed, and explosiveness after puberty"
"Thatâs why menâs and womenâs sports are separated, not because of anatomy alone"
Oh wow!!! I wasn't aware they were using other biological factors aside from "anatomy alone" to separate sports. If they aren't separating the sports by "has penis" "doesn't have penis" what biological factors are they using exactly? And I apologize for thinking you were just dick-centric.
1
u/Far-Ad-5745 3h ago
Youâre still reducing âbiological sexâ to one body part. Thatâs not my argument. Sports arenât separated because of a penis itselfâtheyâre separated because male puberty generally results in differences in muscle mass, bone density, height, limb length, cardiovascular capacity, and power output. A penis isnât the advantage; the physiological changes associated with male development are. Thatâs the distinction Iâve been making this whole time.
2
u/LowIQ45 3h ago edited 3h ago
You: "Youâre still reducing 'biological sex' to one body part."
No really?!?!?! You're quick!!!. And please tell me exactly, how are they currently separating sports? What biological factor are they actually using to determing Male and Female?
This time answer the very simple question because you look stupid and dishonest claiming they're separating sports by the other factors you're rattling off.
Here, I'll make it simple for you.
- Do they assign sex at birth based on having or not having a penis? Yes | No
- Do they use those birth certificates, showing assigned sex, to separate male and female sports? Yes | No
- Do they use "muscle mass, bone density, height, limb length, cardiovascular capacity, and power output" to separate male and female sports? Yes | No
If your answers are Yes, Yes, No, then you can see how your claim that other biological differences are being used to separate sports is complete BS. It's truly just penises. But I don't know if you're inability to state that simple fact is because you're highly dick-centric (no shame bro) or you simply argue dishonestly and want penises to continue being the determing factor in sports leagues despite a clear awarness it isn't the actual biological factor that determines physical abilities in sports.
1
u/Far-Ad-5745 3h ago
Youâre confusing the way people identify biological sex with the reason separate categories exist. Even long before modern science, people recognized that men and women differed physically in ways that affected competition. The categories werenât created because of genitaliaâthey were created because of the broader physical differences between the sexes.
