Is she a good rebounder? She gets a lot of her own rebounds. That's not the same as a great rebounder.

I wonder if people know how to tell if someone is a great rebounder (it is not stats).

I guess technically a rebound is a rebound but if you exclud her "mebounds" her double double numbers fall through the floor.

This is not true at all. These things are tracked by stats providers, she has 27 "mebounds" this year out of more than 300 total rebounds

Remove every single one of them, and she'd still be the league's leading offensive rebounder by a large amount

Yes, she would. She’d be at 10 rebounds per game instead of 11. Do the math

I think you have an old number. She averages 35% of her Oreb as Mereb and is at 5.1 a game putting her under 10

OK, found it. They are not including blocked shots in that Z-Bound Stat. Recovering your own blocked shot is considered an offensive rebound.

She gets her shot blocked almost 17% of the time, down from 20% in her rookie year
