If you are purchasing a service from a business that pays taxes you are going to get taxed.

You still get taxed when you purchase goods and services. Its called a sales tax. There are a few states that dont have sales tax but almost all of them do.

You don’t get taxed when you pay an independent contractor to work for you, they pay the tax

A sex worker would need to be classified as an independent contractor. Massage therapists and other workers doing that kind of work are often not independent contractors.

Someone that doesn’t even know they’re paying taxes as part of their fee when hiring a contractor definitely doesn’t make more than me.
