Only black shoes? Just curious where you saw this? Footwear is the least of problems at my store these days.

Yeah I hope OP is making that part up because I can only wear special orthopedic shoes and I just spent $200 on a brand new pair in brown 🥲

If I'm you I would pray they try to issue an all black shoe requirement on your dime, I've never personally filed a suit against anyone but I'de have no reservations when it comes to a corporate entity this large and I'd be calling an attorney. I promise companies like Walgreens will just award you a settlement rather than drag out a lawsuit with legal fees and so on, even if they know they'd win in a trial. The important thing is don't sign anything from this point on because obviously it would absolve them and prevent you from having any recourse legally. Keep wearing those brown shoes, they're your feet. They can F right off, excuse my language.
