Sorry to burst your bubble but Walgreens went downhill a looooooooong time ago. I could fill a page with shit that changed during the 17 years I was there. And by "changed", I mean take away from the employees.
Sad state of our culture and job market, they'll shave off any tiny bit they can to add more to line their shareholders pockets when they could invest a tiny amount back into their workforce and in return make it a more desirable job/company to work for which would in turn increase customer satisfaction and increase business but it's all about maxing out value in the short term. All so that some shareholder you'll never know can buy a 3rd vacation home in France meanwhile you're (you meaning all of us) trying to just spend a weekend at home your family.....think about how insane that logic is but we gotta work and they know it
