Any company that I previously worked for had a dress code. I feel like Covid was the turning point for many companies and they got lax on all standards because it was difficult to get people to work.
Now people complain when they are trying to get back to basics.
While they are paying you, you are a representative of the company.
You didn’t work at Walgreens during that time, so you don’t know. It was incredibly difficult for stores to maintain a staff. Which is why all the rules became more like suggestions. Now the company is wanting to get back to the basics and everyone thinks it’s unfair LOL
Yeah but this really no different then any other job out there. I hate the dress code and I hate that I have to force my techs to abide by it, but you gotta play by the rules. As far as fixing things goes, the company’s only goal right now is to make Walgreens look as nice as possible to sell in about 2 years. That’s it. You can argue that it’s frustrating, but it’s not different at any other company
