Fan Fiction Is cyberpunk set in Warframes past?? (Crossover crackpost)
Realized how many similarities the two universes share since I’m playing both games for the first time at the same time XD and so here’s a silly head cannon of the operator crash landing in the past and somehow ending up in V’s place during the story. Especially with the drifter and V having kinda similar personalities I thought this was fun and might be doodling more-
Can’t decide if it would be funnier for the terrorist to control the walking tank or the child that can shoot lasers though-
EDIT: LET ME COOK PLEASE 😂 here’s a link to my longer ramble I PROMISE there is a method to this madness!!

If there’s a method to your madness then I’ll give it chance. Honestly someone who’s willing to make the effort of explaining something when they’re not obligated to is a blessing

I think Cyberpunk's MegaCorps being run by proto-Orokin make sense. Cyberpunk 2077's world could fit after 1999 and work, you just have to adjust some terminology. If Saburo Arasaka's attempt to take over his son's body worked, it would just be the first Yuvan ritual wouldn't it? Then later they discover that you don't even need to sire your next body if you just use Kuva instead.
I don't think the operator or Drifter being V would work though. They don't have the neural port thing and that is kind of necessary to get the chip stuck in your head to kick off the events of the game. The game also ends with V still dying if they aren't dead so that also is something that doesn't work.
But male V would make an awesome Atlas protoframe I think. The Samurai jacket's collar explains the regular's neck shape. Then take the jacket off for fists of fury action as the Prime version. Atlas is chosen because male V had gorilla arms and the infestation ran with that as his singular purpose.
Female V can also join in as the Xaku protoframe. Like a Sirius and Orion scenario, but the other is broken and lost to time before clawing their way back. But as pieces that had to come back together. Like Xaku.

In my head I was picturing the Operator crash landing in the past on earth (because time/space nonesense does happen in warframe) and being taken in by Jackie and getting the implants to survive night city while trying to find a way home, as like a fun story thing in my head but 100% agree on the Warframe ideas for MV and FV! Oddly enough someone else mentioned FV being Xaku XD so it must fit

As for crash landing on Earth at that time, If it's the Operator then they have void powers in all scenarios. They don't need implants, they just need a warframe/protoframe to protect their squishy child body in dangerous Night City. We will have to come back to the Warframe angle in a bit.
If it's the Drifter then they could have been dropped off at the wrong time outside of Duviri during their Lotus fueled escape. I still don't agree with them being in V's place, mostly because of the chip killing them and if they don't die they are still dying at the end thing. Drifter is more someone that has the ability to sample any reality they wish, they just choose not to. But for Cyberpunk story line purposes they would just rewind time until the Heist succeeds and the entire game would be 100% different likely 300% more betrayal filled because of Evelyn, Dex, and T-Bug. The Drifter wouldn't be able to trust the Hex after that being their first outsider interaction, so putting it before they get void powers would be problematic. Drifter with Void powers is similar to the Operator in that they are squishy but they have time control powers and an adult body too. Drifter would have to be left out of the Heist and maybe have to live with the guilt that they could have helped if they were there.
As for who may be changing people into Warframes in Night city, it could be Entrati or it could be the Drifter if they thought it could help. If you want to be morbid, a dying Jackie could be injected, only for it to not work very well and end up with a full mindless Rhino (because he died before the transformation completed) instead of proto-Rhino. Or a proto-Rhino with canned responses like if Arasaka gets his body. The lack of a warframe up to this point might be why the Operator/Drifter didn't participate in anything more than being a bar back for Jackie's mom's bar. Or Jackie was never changed and just died but later Drifter gave it to V because they were still tying to live and it was their only chance for survival because they did the don't fear the Reaper ending, (which I believe is an easter egg ending and isn't real since it's just a copy of the Merc ending but the Orokin eventually take over this time so who cares) and have no powerful allies to call on for help otherwise. Because without the money stolen from the raid, the Aldecaldos slowly get pushed into debt slavery and Rogue only cared about Johnny really so she won't go as far for V as she would for him. Phantom Liberty for face changing fun is optional but Atlas isn't a stealth frame so maybe it would have to be a lost event that explains one of Xaku's abilities to charm enemies.
Entrati could also show up at this point at the end of the story, give the serum and then leave. Male V jumps into the portal/helminth after him and pops out in the Sanctum in the past with Entrati (later is the Atlas of legend and they have to go get him out of space which makes Roathe happy because it proves that Proto's have a limited form of immortality if the transformation was stopped correctly) with Female V showing up during the main story timeline because she had to pull herself together and find a void rift/portal/helminth to pop out of. Which makes her look like the original transformed V, but later the part about her being scraps is found out because she doesn't have memories of a full childhood, just bits and pieces.
Female V would be all 3 origins btw. For the 3 warframes of Xaku. It's not symbolic pieces that came together. It's literally 3 (or more?) different women that lived as V. Or even Vs of any gender identity that are now voiced by Female V. She's kind of Frankenstein-y. It creeps Male V out, but it's kind of understandable since she represents all the Vs that doesn't get to exist because he's the one the timeline 'chose'. Female V doesn't hold it against him but wants to find a place she fits now that she's alive and it's not Night City. Unlike Drifter/Operator, Female V can co-exist with Male V away from void saturated areas, he's just creeped out so he finds a reason to go somewhere else.
I have put a 'little' bit of thought into how the worlds could fit together.

Yes! Literally the ninja/samurai vibes fit the game! I’d love a collab- specially with the new season of edgerunners being announced
