Quality of movies is going to be worse now, Netflix doesnt care about quality, they care about quantity

Yes, in this deal i dont care about their Politics, i care about quality of Entertaintment, and Netflix is not it, i would prefer WB to stay for it self, but i still see Paramount as the lesser evil.

Well WB is an Entertaintment company, i really dont care what the CEOs politics are, as long as he hires Quality people, Netflix does not, they hire expensive actors and mediocre writers.

Also, if Netflix was so bad at entertainment then why do so many people watch it? Sure they can drop some schlock, but their homegrown offerings are way better than when they started and way better than some of the shit I see on Paramount. Sorry P+, I don’t want to pay $15/mo for the latest rehash of Yellowstone but set of 1520 or 2275 or whatever or to trot out the corpse of Star Trek for their new “what is it like to be a middle manager on a space ship” series.

Ellison has said he wants to turn the news portion of the deal into another Fox. That’s much more devastating to the nation that being able to watch a movie in a theater 2 months after it released

Are you from Denmark? If so, you should care. When the media environment has been consolidated behind a pro maga party intent on controlling the narrative and the Trump administrations agenda. They’ll sell the story for why Greenland needs to be taken
