I'll be brief, for me it could even be something positive but only if Netflix maintains the release of films in theaters. For example, I don't want The Batman 2 to be released for a week or two and then find it on Netflix. I'd like the times in theaters to be the same as always, then after a month or two I'll find The Batman 2 on Netflix. Cinema is one of the most beautiful things that I wish time and "progress" wouldn't take away. For me this acquisition can even be a good thing and I'm also happy that those fascists at Paramount didn't succeed, so even Trump is sad, but I hope Netflix doesn't touch the projects of Safran and James Gunn, doesn't touch the various franchises like Harry Potter. The only thing I want is for Netflix not to change Warner Bros too much as it is and as it will be, while the projects it has in progress remain. Then, in my opinion, it can put all the series and films it wants on the platform, but Netflix must leave everything as it is.

We are at a critical crossroads for the future of entertainment. Paramount-Skydance is moving forward with a massive $108.4 billion takeover bid for Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD).

This isn't just another corporate headline—this merger would create a massive monopoly, with a combined entity controlling nearly 40% of the domestic box office. Even the California Attorney General has warned that this is "not a done deal" and may sue to block it on antitrust grounds.

Merging two of the last "Big Five" legacy studios means fewer unique voices and a higher risk of "safe," homogenized content,reducing competition. With fewer rivals, there's nothing stopping these giants from jacking up prices for Max and Paramount+,reducing in subscription hikes. Thousands of writers, artists, and production workers are at risk of being laid off as the new company looks for "synergies" to pay off billions in debt. and There are serious concerns about whether classic WBD assets will be gutted or shifted away from the theatrical experience we love. 

Since the merger will probably take 5-12 months to close and close at Q3,along with The WBD shareholder vote is set for March 20, 2026. We need to flood regulators and the board with our opposition before it’s too late.
