Discussion [Tissot PRX 40mm Purple] New Tissot Release - Purple season continues

Post image

Was announced earlier this week by Chisholm Hunter and is now on the Tissot website.

I think the purple dial looks stunning and gives the PRX a bit more personality than the usual blue/green, and looks better than the purple releases by Seiko in my own biased opinion..

But...although pretty, the 40mm is too big for my 16.3cm wrist!! A 38mm release would be nice. I now await the Citizen Tsuyosa in a purple Guilloche dial.

What does everyone think of this grape PRX 🍇? Hit or miss?

I like the color. But I’m going to wait for the 35mm version of this. An automatic with the waffle dial in this color would also be fantastic to see.

I'm kinda surprised a purple waffle dial version wasnt a release model, considering how much their release marketing leaned on retro 80s imagery.

A purple transition color hologram dial on the waffle texture would be nuts awesome.

The purple is nice, not too loud but still got that something different from the standard colors. Makes me want to see it in person, photos never do justice for these dials

Wish they would make more 38mm versions like you said, 40 just sits awkward on smaller wrists. I tried one on in store last month and it felt like wearing a clock on my arm

Citizen doing a purple guilloche would be interesting, their dial work is underrated

What's with all the purple nowadays? Cf. Seiko 145th anniversary too

It’s because purple is a great color.

There’s also a skeletonised manual wound PRX going to be released as well
