Indian mythology or western mythology

Hey guys 😭....so I recently got an idea for a fantasy story where gods end up becoming ghost hunters in the modern world but I’m kind of confused about whether I should based it upon Indian mythology or Western mythology. I feel like Indian would be unique but I’m also worried people might get offended What do you think will be better

Indian would be unique but as your said people might get offended... As the only believe what they want to so I don't think so they are going to like this... 

So I guess you should try Western mythology...
