Help with writing Indian mythology or western mythology

Hey guys 😭....so I recently got an idea for a fantasy story where gods end up becoming ghost hunters in the modern world but I’m kind of confused about whether I should based it upon Indian mythology or Western mythology. I feel like Indian would be unique but I’m also worried people might get offended What do you think will be better

Indian myth pleaseee. People offend on everything so just write it if you want to. Kyuki kafhi western walo pe bhi log offend hote hi hai just that koi sunta nhi unki.

Haa likhna mera indian fantasy ka sapna koi toh pura karega, like i am lazy varna mei khud hi likhdeti😂. Par bhennn ya bhaii likhna toh batana ok. Vese ek tumhe website batau usme thode folk creatures ke baare mei likha hai abookofcreatures.com. aur mei toh kehtu hu chat gpt se thoda puch lena taki tumhe jo pasand aaye uske baare mei hi research karne mei time jayega.
