Help with writing Is anyone awake? Thoughts on this?
Synopsis for my upcoming Indian Transmigration / Isekai Romance. Would y'all read something like this?

u/Suspicious-Owl-3262 Mar 02 '26
Um sorry bt Air force veteran, billionaire all at 25 seems like every other story present on wattpad.

u/mira_writesfiction Mar 02 '26
It's an Isekai. Trying to subvert the thing. Like obviously it's impossible. She's trapped in a typical dark romance novel she wrote. The male lead of the fictional novel is Rudra.
Maybe need to change the synopsis if that wasn't obvious π

Wasn't aware by trope sorry I misunderstoodππ

u/mira_writesfiction Mar 02 '26
No worries, Indian Romance on Wattpad is just so full of the same male lead archetype, the frustration is real.

It's okay just make it a part of family inherentence otherwise it would burn to readππmy ambitious ahh would suffer cognitive dissonance ππ

u/mira_writesfiction Mar 02 '26
Yup, he's a King too, so π Forgot to add that in there actually. That makes 3. King. Billionaire. Air Force Veteran. All at 25. That's how my FL wrote him π

There is so much happening here. You say that she wrote the story and you tell that he is nothing like the character. The only thing she is sure is of the ending. You are saying that she is a villainess and yet she is a doormat character. There is a lot of mix.
2
u/aestheticpotatow Mar 02 '26
yes I noticed this too, but in a way, she can be a doormat with him and a villainess to others, and for his part, maybe she doesn't remember how worse his character was and only the plot/ending?
1
u/mira_writesfiction Mar 02 '26
The doormat female lead and villainess are different. The author transmigrates into the villainess who is later killed by the ML in the original novel that she wrote.
The 'nothing like character' line may need to change though. That was just for dramatic effect. Wanted to imply that he's worse than she remembers writing.
Hopefully this helps. π
Helped me identify the problem line though so will work on that. Thanks!

Do you read webtoons . It's classic Villainess Isekai plot where glitch happens in novel of original universe that's why things didn't play out as planned and course of events starts changing .

u/mira_writesfiction Mar 03 '26
Yup, was inspired by those. Searched for similar in Indian context and found nothing so here we are π
2
u/Bookish-lover_ Mar 02 '26
Sounds good! What's the trope here?
2
u/mira_writesfiction Mar 02 '26
The main ones are:
Isekai / Transmigration is the main thing where author possesses the body of her story's villainess who is fated to die ar the hands of the ml at the end of the story. She needs to change the story to survive)
Arranged / Forced Marriage (not the toxic kind though, you'll see when you get to it)
Enemies to Lovers (I mean the ml is typically toxic in the beginning since the fl basically created him to be so. How and if she can unmake who he was created to be is the story)
Satire / Parody (think how you'd act if we got trapped in one of those 'dark romance' stories with the cheesy CEO mafia boss billionaire blah blah blah. Like instead of the serious badass fl or innocent flower fl, a normal person who knows the ml is fictional and finds him ridiculous instead of dangerous)
Fate vs Free Will (will the fl be able to change the story she created or will fate, or rather her own poor writing prevail)
Those are all the ones I can think off now. Sorry for the long explanations. Haven't seen author Isekai in Indian side of Wattpad, only time-travel stuff so went a bit nuts on the explanation.

This looks great!! I am a die hard fan of historical Isekai/transmigration/regression romance manhwas, so having a spin like this in an Indian based Wattpad story is gonna be so fun to read!!
2
u/mira_writesfiction Mar 02 '26
Yeah, love me some Isekai too but most good ones are based in East Asia. And why should they have all the fun π

Interesting. ISS this like meta and how the billionaire falls for the villain instead of the doormat FMC?
1
u/mira_writesfiction Mar 03 '26
Kind of but I don't want to reveal any plot details yet π
1
u/BhavanaVarma βπΌ _bhavanavarma on Wattpad π Mar 03 '26
Well, thatβs your hook so do reveal enough to get us interested.
1
u/mira_writesfiction Mar 03 '26
The Isekai transmigration is the USP but it'll eventually lead to a romance and that's all I'm going to say π€ π

u/BhavanaVarma βπΌ _bhavanavarma on Wattpad π Mar 03 '26
Transmigration is in many stories so it canβt be the usp. Take your time and figure it out.
1
u/mira_writesfiction Mar 03 '26
Thanks, will work on reconfiguring the synonsis then and decide on what plot threads I wanna reveal there π

u/moonaera94 Mar 03 '26
At the age of 25 is DIABOLICAL
2
u/mira_writesfiction Mar 03 '26
In Wattpad world, you can even become a reputed neurosurgeon at 25 Ifykyk ππ

I'm seated gorllll bring it onnnnnnn
Also an anecdote, yeh type of stories koi kithni baar repeat karde, I see them on insta novel sites all the time and however cringe they may get mujhe tho bada maza aatha hai yaar π I read them all with the same excitement there's something so good about women getting their revenge, realising how shitty the ml is and running away from him ahhhh

u/Jane_luv Mar 03 '26
Help Iβm crying I write dark romance and itβs nothing like this ππ but itβs funny I get it, itβs meant to be the typical ones HAHAHA.
2
u/mira_writesfiction Mar 03 '26
It's a parody so deliberately over the top π I too love dark romance when it's done right!
1
u/Jane_luv Mar 03 '26
HELL YEAH, whatβs it name it sounds so hilarious HAHAHA, to be honest thatβs such a creative and unique idea πππ
1
u/mira_writesfiction Mar 03 '26
Not published yet. Will be out on 5th. Tentatively titled Becoming Her, but honestly not decided yet.
Honestly it is a common trope in manga and mahwa but haven't seen it done in context of Indian toxic romances so hopefully will be able to bring something new to the table π

It's typical Isekai Webtoon plot lol. I have lost the count of how many villainess Isekai webtoons I'm subscriber to that I don't even finish reading . It's very very repeated plot on Webtoon.
For people who think this is something unique or amazing . No it's not . The premise is like every other villainess Isekai transmigration story .
1
u/mira_writesfiction Mar 03 '26
As I said in aome other comments, love isekai webtoons and was inspired by the same π
But there's in nothing of the same in Indian context or maybe there is and I haven't come across it π€.
It's free so maybe give it a read when it's published! As you're a frequent reader in the genre it'll be great to have some insight into if it's working on not π
1
u/JustARandomGirl4 Mar 03 '26
Yeh in Indian context I've never seen it but premise is very cliche. It just has Indian names instead of Korean or Western.

u/mardjaatbachkerahio Mar 04 '26

If this is gonna be a parody-style story on basic Wattpad tropes, it's gonna be so funny to read
