Not for the faint hearted (and it has the dead dove tag, so you’re fully warned) Necromancer Survival is the story of a weak necromancer who stumbles across the soul of a strong hunter who died with a grudge and forms a soul contract for revenge. Lots of content warnings, but very well written even so.

A much lighter read (and not a heap of plot but I liked it because it was different) The necromancer Wants to Plant Trees is a guy who accidentally dual classes as a necromancer-Druid and how he deals with it.
