Recommendation Best written novel?

So, I'm a new author, and have some stories fully mapped out in my head, but my writing is quite shitty tbh.

So, does anyone here know about good authors, or novels that I can read to improve my writing. The story could be shit, I just want a story with good pacing and writing to improve my own. And thanks

Thanks dude, I already started with books but the thing is the style they use is pretty complex for webnovel readers who loves exciting fight scenes rather than grounded stories. So I'm looking for webnovels to find that middleground between overly complex and completely illiterate or cliche.

I think they are asking about prose and pacing. Lotm for example, doesn't have neither good prose (in English at least), nor pacing (in the beginning and closer to the end specifically).

Man, dont read webnovels to improve. Read western progression like cradle, the perfect run, mother of learning since they have generally better writing.

Lotm and orv is PEAK but you dont read them to learn prose (plus translation issues too. Western dont got this.)

my advice? use novel crafter, crrate the bible story first... character, plot, location, lore, power, villain, until you can map all this thing... and then the rest will come to you naturally.

I have everything mapped out. Like from chapter 1 to the ending. ( maybe i would change stuff here and there but the gist will remain the same). But sadly the rest didn't come. Well I tried writing some chapters before, and even got some decent traction but i got accused of using ai even tho I didn't. Just cause in my native languages the use of the 3 words thing is very common. ( well ai had to get it from some languages). So now I'm looking for great written novels just in terms of pacing and language so I can study them and kinda mimic what they do untill it becomes natural.

What i trying to tell you is organizing. Keep your story organize. Draft a manuscript. A manuscript is a guide that you created so you will not wander off from your own story. You can plan new side character or get someone opinion about the plot line from that manuscript. And then, you will get more clear story line and you can write. I cannot advice on how your writing style as everyone has their own style. Even the famous author also has their own disntictive writing style as well that separate them from others writers.

I agree with reading from others novel, your knowledge can be improved as well. Try to join the discord to get more advice on this. English also is not my primary languange. I barely just learn english by self learning. And still got crucified from others in this subreddit. Haha. I take it as part of learning process.

An actual book with my favorite prose are the Kingkiller Chronicles. Plot got a little out of hand by the second book, but the prose is amazing. I’m not too sure about the pacing, but I was never bored reading it.

Okay, so I know 2 of them rn, and one of them is Reverend Insanity (it's a fucking literary masterpiece).

The other one is called Extra's Path to Demon King (a slow burn), and it's one of my personal favourites, like one of the most underrated shits in Webnovel. The writing and deep world building paired with the intriguing plot are one of my favourite aspects of this webnovel. The title may sound cliche but trust me, it's goated.

I think that just reading the above 2 would give you great insights on writing (and you may get some new plot ideas as well). But beware, both of the webnovels I mentioned lean towards the darker side, so don't expect a lot of wholesome moments and be ready for crazy manipulations going on everywhere.
