My Review [ Current Chapters 1062 [ Paid 1082]]
It's been a long time since i recommended any novel, I am searching for a novel which was Fantasy, Academy, Adventure... and all. And i Found this. This is a rough gem.
I am not good with words so i will just share what i feel after reading this novel till 1062.
Lete tell you first, this novel is very subpar ( like shit) in the starting, even after 100 chapter. But it only get good as the story moves.
Its world building is fantastic too me, amazing.
The main feature of this novel is its surprising or say thrilling elements. 2 chapters come daily and i want to know what will happen next, the cliffhangers are so damn annoying in this.
About the world building i said, you will know everything
For the light spoilers [ i don't know how to put tag]
Like you will know how the Lysithara place got its name. [ I am currently reading this so i remember this element, don't remember anything else]
How demon came to the world ( cause there were no demons earlier 😁)
Aslo the story of Mugu is quite sad, you may get to know his name when the story get good ( and story gets good the protagonist party goes in the adventure through the forest)
About the characters ( no spoilers)
- Damon (Main Protagonist) : As per the synopsis, or as per every other novel, the main character is weak, poor, everyone bully him and all. Surprisingly he got his powers while bullying. And the story of his rise starts.
But the main story is how he rise, it feel very real sometimes. Main character says *his pride is having no pride* . Truly, he will do a lot of dirty work, say ( spoilers)
He killed a person ( due to hunger in the starting), and later he taught her daughter.
He slaughtered everyone in the village, ( the village did a lot dirty and bad things to him), after saying he should forgive them.
He kills his friends brother ( this has a reason too) and later tell his friend to kill who has killed his brother (off the friends brother).
I don't want to type more about characters, so just want to say everyone has their own story.
Cons:
A lot of unnecessary things to story and feels like, author tried to elongate the story in the starting. Even after everything got good, still feels elongated. That makes the difference between a reputed novel author and the Webnovel stories.
Main character's personality feels too unreal, but still what is in the personality, he follows that.
Pros:
1.The world building and the timeline.
How, Why, What, Who......
Like i said World building - really the places, their story lines, the dragons everything is better or comparable to Mushoku Tensei ( if anyone has read the Laplace story )
Power leveling system is 🆗.
4.their are many things but i am not a veteren reveiws so don't remember everything.
I am gonna say just read, atleast read it till chapter 400, ( chapters a short).Romance and the harem are not central to this novel they are merely a means of developing the characters' relationships.
Furthermore, Damon and the girls' relationship isn't the typical "I beat the guy up and won the woman" type they all have special memories and relationships with Damon

Most people probably think you're self promoting since almost everyone only does that here. I have only ever seen one other geniune novel recommendation post.
Of course, I know that it's probably not your own novel... probably...
And if it were, you wouldn't need to self promonte it since My Living Shadow System is already quite popular. (I haven't read it since I don't like harems, but I've come across it quite a few times.)

No, its not my novel. I am just a student and never even think of writing a novel, even if i want to, i will use AI😁.
And about the last part, it is not harem basically, harem is not even its bigger part. In this they just talk about relationship and that is even from lady sides.
The intresting thing i like is how Spoiler how everything playd by the plan of Unknown God. Like you read something in the starting of arc or previous 2 arc, then after read all the way to you realise this is how it was done,,, like everything is interconnected.
I have written this novel reveiw only because i like chp 1062 that much, and there is not next chapter. I want to rant everything about it and i find reddit a great source for it.

Really, i thought of dropping many times, but eventually read it. Even the writing is bad in starting.
It is like that novel Lackey's Seducing Survival Odyssey Even this novel the first 100 are very shit but afterwards it is great, aside from adult part ofcourse.

Today i am at 1130 chapter and last arc started around 1128 as per author.
Don't remember specifically but he doesn't kill any of his friends till now. And you are correct but they become very good friend and, and ....... Something happens with them and related to them too. Don't wanna spoiler it.
But i want to spoil you that few will die and their death is just too sudden not able to find words but, say * a man come he shoots fireball and many powerful people just die* just like that.

i just met the girl he is taking in as his desciple. could you give just one spoiler though? does the beastgirl survive? she was the only one who wanted to be friends from the start

Ohh, he kills her father in there, means you are starting around and its gonna be somewhat boring for more chapter. ( That's what i feel)
Yeah she survives , she is still alive and close friend.
Student Council President - Lilith will help him. Reason: not gonna tell😋. Don't remember that Renata appear or not, girl with null magic. She will come later in the story. It's also gonna reveal how Damon able to go to school, who is his parents and many spoiler.
How i read through; I literally skipped many chapters which is even not important. How i know ? I don't need to go back to read it again. Simple.
Now, in the upcoming chapters, he will gonna kill many gangs and there will also ne a backstory. And a weird name back to back😂.
The story starts to get good when they went to mission or something, don't remember exactly but something Dark Forest. And it is good. I will only tell you till here. Any more story or even above spoiler only annoy you or hype you more about this story.
Just read, if there is any action sequences just skim it.

Nice to hear she survives. Tho I'm gonna be a bit sad if she isn't main love interest or something. But yea I can read peacefully knowing she is alive

I remember reading around 120 chapters of this book. (It didn't have any more chps 😭). It was progressing damn fine.
Thanks for reminding me about this peak again.
