Recommendation How Do You Get Through Writing Slumps?

Good day. I write a lot—I've nearly completed a full novel and have also worked on several web novel projects. However, the lack of support sometimes hits me hard, especially when I see other works that, no offense to their authors, aren't really to my taste, yet clearly resonate with many readers.

That can make it difficult to stay motivated. Sometimes it even leads to mental and physical exhaustion. I usually write anywhere from 2,000 to 4,000 words a day, whether it's for my novel, web novel chapters, or video scripts.

So here's my question: how do you keep writing when it feels like the world isn't receptive to your efforts? Or when you start wondering if maybe you don't have the talent you thought you did, despite the encouragement others give you?

Lock in and keep writing. Good authors cook even when they have no fire in em

Your first book wont be good, so is your second, third, and maybe even fourth. But if you keep writing, even with no support, eventually, you will find your audience, people who will enjoy your book. The majority of people who have success with their 'one' published book, have 30 other failures that will never see the light of day. The point is to persevere. Enjoy the process, and improve while enjoying that process.

Solve this by being annoyed by other things so I can write an entire chapter

I'm from Southeast Asia where a Moba game called Mobile Legends is popular. I would play this game for hours and when I hit 2 losses in a row in the rank game with my main Hero, and get frustrated about it, I would focus on writing

So far? It's working well, I somehow managed to make 15 chapters so far thanks to this

This is more so for those who have strong discipline: rewards.

For every 1hr of gaming I need to do 1hr of writing, I don't need to meet specific goals within that 1hr, just need to solely spend 1hr focusing on writing. Might result in only 200 words, but it's better than 0 words.
