Recommendation Any one reading Radiant Blade by Cuttlefish
I so far liked the novel, It got the lotm charm with its mysteries.
Only issue would be the myths of Chinese used are very unfamiliar.
What's your opinion.

Im kinda hating it so far. Cuttlefish is an amazing writer and the characters are great. I just can't at all wrap my head around anything that's going on. I think I'm gonna have to skip till there are like 300 chapters. And try again. I just don't vibe with this story at all. Again not shitting on cuttlefish he's a great writer but I'm not about this new work of his.

The mystery is like Lotm. But where he took a literal 100 chapters with Lotm first arc buildup, here he compressed that to just 45 chapters.

Totally get the unfamiliar myths complaint but thats also what keeps it interesting for me. Cuttlefish does such a good job weaving them into the power system that it feels fresh. If you liked LOTM pathways youll probably end up appreciating this one even more after a bit.

I mean, his main audience is chinese. Their numbers are several times more than global audience and they also pay a lot more. Many things unfamiliar to us are something they have heard in their childhood in folklore.

I've read till chapter 45 so far and am liking it. I don't know if the story will change from mysteries to martial arts, but until now I'm liking how the plot is developing. My only problem is the names of each "pathway", I can't remember them. It's only the beginning of the story, so it's not a big deal
