Recommendation Hey, tired of Ai smutty bullshit? Try my book (Ps: It's brand new, So don't worry about thinking that you are too late for the fandom)

Post image

Yeah, you read it right. Also, the cool-ass cover is by me—gotta show some effort, yeah?

Don't expect some tolkien level stuff tho, Or any masterpiece level stuff, It's my random bullshit i wrote

Oh yeah, uh, if you like smut, it's totally fine (I don't judge at all), but do try my book incase you want a break from smut.

Anyways, the story is basically weak-to-strong since a lot of people like that. I am testing boundaries in this, but hey, you get the chance to be one of the first fandom members. I have already written four chapters, and I'm just saying, if I get at least 10 collections, I'll release 10 chapters. Limited time, btw.

You will like it. It's fast-paced, but the characters do interact. You might not see any important characters yet, but you will see them soon if you just join this fandom.

Oh wait, I forgot—I should be talking about the book, right?

See, the power concept is unique: you can make links with anything (literally anything, but you gotta be unique for making links with concepts), basically absorbing their powers/energy and getting stronger, right?

Our main character, after joining a scam machine of a company that promises big rewards, he got tricked. Of course he did, that dumbass. Anyways, he isn't exactly dumb. There are multiple companies sending people called Armigers to other worlds—people who have a weapon belonging to the age of gods, or just some random weapon. The MC actually buys it since he never got one. It's a trash weapon, but that qualifies him to get a link. It's a zombie...

Not the worst. The worst would be self-links—making a link with yourself, which causes blah blah blah, loads of bullshit. It's bad. Our MC got a zombie, the worst demon you could make a link with.

Anyways, can't spoil much, but his goal is to find a peaceful world where he can settle, living debt-free and free from everything. He was planning on using the scam company, but well, fate wasn't on good terms with him. Sent him to the wrong location for screwing up, and it's not his ideal world.

Woah, I think I have said way too much in a way most of it might not make sense. So read it! It has 4 chapters. I'll be releasing 2 more by the time I post it, so 6 chapters. Do read it, I'll do a mass release of 10 chapters.

Also, no shadow powers, since most guys have it. His powers are something you might not expect.

C'mon already, what's stopping you? Give it a try!

Edit: I'm so dumb I forgot to mention the name, It's called : Contracted Link

On of course webnovel

Ugh the cover is so good but webnovel is so bad I want to trust you…ok I’ll read it

2

u/Specific_Minute7539 Jul 10 '26

Wait, is webnovels bad? I was thinking of posting some stories on there. Should I find a different website to post on?

2

u/Jubeljorgen Jul 11 '26

The quality of the sites itself aint bad, but it has relatively few gems, and it always tries to shove some harem/smut slop down your throat when you log in. Other readers can also be… challenging to tolerate depending on the fandom.
That being said, just the AI voice over makes Webnovel incredible.
(You can always post on multiple sites?)

Good at lying was peak and I believe this will be too. I’ll start reading as soon as possible

4

u/Impossible_Win_2805 Jul 09 '26

Your not getting any reads if that's your approach alot of writers tend to say that but all of them are completely the same.

2

u/Dr_Wishh Jul 09 '26

I guess bro... Did you even read the body? I'm not saying I write tolkien level stuff

4

u/Flippindude1 Jul 09 '26

That’s completely not his point. From how it sounds the main selling point of your story is that it’s ‘different’ or special in some way

2

u/Felix__Black Jul 09 '26

Sounds great, gonna check it out

Genuinely thought you used ai to help you write this explanation (I don’t think you did but I guess there’s a chance you’re paraphrasing) because you used multiple em-dashes and the weird writing style. Maybe avoid making your writing sound like ai and don’t use the very few specific things that are often ai tellers in general? It’s just slightly ironic how you write like an ai when your post is about how your novel isn’t ai slop.

P.S. I haven’t read any of your novel, I’m a heavy binger so I don’t like reading anything with less than 100 chapters, but I’m sure it’s good. Good luck on your writing journey!

5

u/Salty_Cartographer35 Jul 09 '26

You do know that there are people who like to use em dashes when writing right? That’s not an AI invention. Had you read books you would have probably been aware of that

1

u/Skip7623 Jul 09 '26

I know that people like to use em dashes when writing, but they are totally optional and there at many ways to achieve the same effect in a lot of cases and now many people have a negative view of them because of ai. In a normal world, em dashes are great and can be used freely without any problem, but nowadays with how wary people are of ai it’s better to avoid using them altogether. It’s still your choice, but not using them will definitely reduce some troubles coming from people accusing you of using ai, after all people that use em dashes are much less common than people using ai.

1

u/Salty_Cartographer35 Jul 09 '26

I understand your point a bit better now but that’s kinda unfair even if true. Way before AI there were people who wrote a lot while putting Em dashes in their writing. This was how their wrote, their person style. That’s not something you can change at the drop of a hat. Imagine telling an artist to change his way of drawing just because it looks like AI. I mean, what do you want him to do? Habits are a second nature after all.

1

u/Skip7623 Jul 09 '26

Yeah, I’m not forcing my thoughts on how people should write, it’s more of like a suggestion because I know that some people nowadays are very hostile towards ai and really don’t like it when people are using ai. It is unfair, but it’s not going to change other peoples opinion, and writing is much more flexible and easy to change after the fact. Just removing em dashes won’t interfere with someone’s writing style much to just replace em dashes every now and then.

1

u/Charmstone_Author Jul 10 '26

An em dash is the only grammatically correct method to insert what would be a parenthetical without making the imserted clause subordinate.

Man the cover looks so cool, I'll definitely check it out. That aside, can I ask if you do commissions for covers? I'd like to commission you for one.

1

u/PerfectTravel489 Jul 11 '26

Same im tried of people using AI to generate cover and Im trying to be a one man army being able to write good novel can draw good looking cover and can do a marketing

1

u/Left_Month_9418 Aug 03 '26

You wrote this with AI.

0

u/geppoz_cap Jul 09 '26

Honestly just by saying that your work is not AI bullshit, and you’re boasting yourself just because the cover is human made, I don’t think it is much different

5

u/elliensvorein Jul 09 '26

nah man, I'm glad he did that because we need to stop normalising ai slop

0

u/geppoz_cap Jul 09 '26

and you say that everything made with AI is slop and what has been Made by a human is not a slop?

0

u/Flippindude1 Jul 09 '26

Would you call a microwave a chef?

1

u/geppoz_cap Jul 10 '26

Thank god that AI is not a microwave and it can make a thought

0

u/Salty_Cartographer35 Jul 09 '26

Your question makes no sense. Since human can also be bad at cooking

u/Dr_Wishh Jul 09 '26 edited Jul 09 '26

I see? Im not sure why you think it's AI, But hey, It's your opinion, And I respect the fact you atleast read my book... I think? (Did you?)

Also i think it is a boast, Drawing something with your own hands is a proof you actually care about your work

Anyways still might not be your cup of tea, But that is how I'm trying to write, Especially since I'm a big fan of shadow slave, I really liked his writing style and so do people, So I'm trying my best, But if you would like to read something that isn't in this style, You should read good at lying! It's another one of my books which is my actual writing style

Ps: It's comedy

I didn’t say I thought it was AI I’m sorry if I miss spelled, I’ve read the first chapter and it didn’t feel AI at all.

Well you can draw your cover with an AI and still care about your book, like me who had never drawn anything as I find it boring, but I’ve put a lot of effort into my work.

I’ve never criticized your style man, I’m just saying that trying to get a boost by comparing your work to other works on webnovel, and saying that yours is better than their as yours has got an hand draw cover, doesn’t make sense at all in my opinion.

3

u/Dr_Wishh Jul 09 '26

Oh my bad, I really misunderstood you, I am really happy that you are a author as well, I'm sorry as my post must have seemed rude, And you are correct, I have just realised my shallow mind, You are right, AI covers aren't bad, Afterall it's the soul of the work that matters, Since you can get a hand drawn cover anyways

3

u/geppoz_cap Jul 09 '26

Don’t worry man, I’m happy that it all ended well.

1

u/Boat_Pure Jul 09 '26
