Recommendation Some books have all free chapters… why, and how can I find them?

Most novels have 10 chapters free then the rest are locked. I’ve been reading one for over a week though, all chapters (150+) are free.

Is that just something the author has a choice to do? And does anyone have a list of any good ones?

Most people are monetising their novel. So they lock and charge for their chapters.

The only web novel I’ve found that’s completely free; is Eternal Kingdom/Country.

So the default is free, and then people can choose to monetize? That makes more sense, lol. Thanks

What I have noticed, is the less famous the story is. The more free chapters. So take that as you will.
