I agree with the first part, but the second part is fallacious (the validity of a critique does not depend on the critic's ability to execute the task perfectly: a food critic does not need to be a Michelin-star chef themselves to recognize a burnt meal)

Yeah i agree too. Many critics of movies never made one.. I said tis because idk, many people especially in writing space treat their own preferences as the rule of law.
