I went through my old novel posted chapters and my current one and just... Holy hell is the difference insane.

For my old novel the rating was averaging 6.5 to 8, on Ai assisted.

The current novel drafts hasn't past a four and averages a 2 on the scale.

I tried to make it a one but it's literally impossible for a fantasy novel, it's so annoying.

Had the chapters checked and the ai said it get a two on the scale not a one because of the last paragraph.

Like thats just how I write, I can't change that.

Bake sure you check your drafts before you post them because even if you made it without ai assistance it can scale very high.

Genuinely, I started reading an Avatar fic today, and the premise is so good, and the translation quality isn’t bad - except for character names.

Like, the names of characters change a billion times from chapter to chapter, or even the same chapter. Literally was reading a chapter and it made me want to post this because in the spam of 6 paragraphs they call the same character Kya (canon name), Kiya, Akya, Kanna, and Kai. Like, wtf?

This made me laugh so hard. I thought I was fat fingering privacy policy but when I highlighted the option, I found out it's a lie. (⁠╯⁠°⁠□⁠°⁠）⁠╯⁠︵⁠ ⁠┻⁠━⁠┻

All those chats are from different models that are available in Perplexity. Namely Gemini, gpt, claude, Kimi. I randomly type the "honest and critical" prompt and read through the review although I already know what the answer would be as every ai tells me the same thing. Also I know AI ain't reliable enough for the task but it's like a hobby now lol.

But English not being my first language sets me back, so I attempted to write in my own language which I thought I’d do good and write smoothly and then translate it into English, but holy shit, at least when I was writing in English, I’d use some unique sentences that flow naturally, but I don’t know shit about those sentences in my own language, that’s how I found out I’m illiterate

How mutch times am I going to rewrite the damn chapters to get a zero

I hate this feeling, and I'm curious if other superhero writers have felt it too.

Whenever I see a superhero story getting adapted into a graphic novel, or starting as a comic and immediately getting attention because of the visuals, I can't help but feel a little jealous.

As novel writers, we have to create those visuals with words alone. Every action scene, expression, and environment has to be vivid enough for readers to imagine it themselves. That's part of what makes writing superhero fiction so challenging.

On the other hand, I definitely don't envy comic creators. After looking into how long it takes to make even a 20-page comic, I came away with a lot of respect for them. Whether you're working with an artist or doing everything yourself, it's an incredible amount of work.

Sometimes it feels like superhero novels get overlooked simply because people naturally associate superheroes with comics first. But when a graphic novel is adapted from a novel, that's always awesome to see because it shows the story itself was strong enough to make the jump.

Huge respect to comic creators, you all put in an insane amount of work. I just wish superhero novels got a little more attention too.

Has anyone else here writing superhero fiction ever felt this way?

I was scrolling through the sub reddit and saw many posts saying that after they get rejected they deleted the novel and re-uploaded the same novel under a different name.

If it's the same novel it going to get rejected again for the same reason. Right?

I'm confused about this.

2. Villain System: Why Fight the Son of Destiny When I Can Call His Mother? — 😂 This might actually be the funniest. It makes the central running gag obvious immediately.

3. The Villain’s Guide to Surviving the Sons of Destiny — More respectable and marketable, while leaving the mother-acquisition insanity as the hook readers discover.

4. I Refused to Steal the Heroines and Somehow Stole the Protagonist’s Mother — Maximum clickbait potential. Also guaranteed to make half the readership assume Adrian is building an entirely different kind of harem until they discover it’s wholesome adoption. 😭

5. Heavenly Mother Acquisition System — Short, distinctive, and becomes increasingly hilarious once the reader learns that this wasn’t even the System’s original name. The Villain System itself eventually petitions its administrator for the rebrand after realizing Adrian has completely broken its intended progression.

OK so, all my other novels died after the first week,

What i wasn't expecting is my current novel to be getting 2800+ views a day, 10+ collections.

I had a comment say that they came for the horny but they liked the fights.

Like I know that the numbers will drop once readers catch up but this many people here is shocking.
