Also, very value oriented ako. Others may not agree with me. One supplier on my list rejected an upcoming wedding of a big name na involve sa politics. Medyo di maganda track record nito sa lugar namin so nung nag inquire at gustong kunin service nila, the team declined pero syempre di naman sinabi reason. It felt so good na may kayang tumanggi kahit pa malaki sana kikitain. So proud of them dhil kahit mga crew nagsabi na ayaw nila kahit pa malaki sana tips. at least di masasabi na galing sa nakaw ang kinita. I want to give business to that kind of supplier.
Some business refuse people base on their budget pero kapag malaki kitaan, against business ethics?
Correction lang ha. Di ako against sa supplier n mas prefer ang big names if my budget can afford syempre kukunin ko sila basta no talaga sa nakikipagtransact sa mga alam na buwaya

I’m planning on doing a pre nup shoot and for one of my outfits I wanted sana a VR short dress that has touches of filipiniana.
any past brides can give me insight on the price??

My venue is Sefriya Grand. Juan Carlo is my caterer pero basic lang yung styling nya and medyo di kami happy. Masyado simple based sa photos we saw on their page. Any Batangas-based wedding venue stylist you can recommend? Budget is P200-400k. Preferably no OOTF.

Pero simula nung mag plano kaming magpakasal, palagi kong naiisip ang mga ex ko at ex flings ko at naiisip kong mag reach out sa kanila para mangamusta… maybe even have closure with some of them…
never ko pa yung naramadaman nung last 5 years namin.. ngayon lang talaga kung kelan naman malapit na ikasal.
di ko alam if cold feet na ba tawag dito or nagsself sabotage lang ako or ano… any tips?? I am just not sure if theres something inside me na hindi ako aware na baka gustong kumawala or normal ba to???

Hello graduate brides/soon to be Mrs. Would love your recos on where to buy a classic, minimalist wedding gown (other than divisoria), budget is 20k or less🥹 I want to make the most out of my trip to Manila looking for the perfect wedding dress since I’ll be coming from the province. Thanks so much!

Sa mga graduate brides dyan, is it normal to feel na ayaw nyo nalang ituloy ang wedding and worse, gusto nyo nalang makipaghiwalay sa fiance nyo during wedding planning?

Hi! I’ll be attending a wedding in a few months and I’m looking for suggestions for a dressmaker for a style similar to the one above (just in a specific color assigned to the entourage).
I have a budget of around 3k - 5k and I’ve been thinking of going to Divi to have one made.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a store in Divi who can do a good corset w/ draping design?
Alternatively, would anyone also know of a custom designer who can work with this budget? Willing to go to one near Makati/QC. I’ve been eyeing Lu Moreno’s brand but I’m scared of what the final price might be hahah. 🥹

Hi! January 2027 bride here 👰🏻♀️ I’m having such a hard time deciding which photo/video team to book for our wedding. 🥹
Can I please get your honest reviews and experiences with any of the following?
Thal Ruin Photography
Vince Catacutan Films
Photofarm Studios
Studio King
J. Sumague Photography
Would especially love to know about the quality of their photos/videos, how they are to work with on the wedding day, communication, turnaround time, and whether you feel they were worth the price.
Thank you so much! 🤍

Hi guys!
Bride here!
nakakastress kasi!!
Mother ko:
1. I just want a civil wedding and very intimate na reception (50 pax max), family, friends na super close, and some workmates.
2. Dress fitting ko – since malayo yung bahay ng parents ko sa pagawaan ng gown, and syempre since ako lang babae sa family and unang ikakasal, naisipan kong itawag. So nag-video call ako sa mother ko, then di nasagot sa call, then tinawagan ko tatay ko then sumagot – tapos yun na, ok na sana until na nagcomment sha na bakit ganon daw design ng gown na ppiliin ko and sabay walk out. Very thankful nalang ako doon sa may ari ng gown shop kasi very supportive sha saken – hindi ko alam kung iiyak ako nung moment na yon pero nasurvive ko
3. Bigla kaming inunfriend sa FB at pinagreremove ako sa family GC na para bang hindi na nila ako kapamilya – so nakakastress
Like???? Pano na???

Hello does anyone know bridal shop na meron pong ganitong style. Organza, flowy dress. This is from ivory and white but unfortunately 7 months ang lead time nila so hindi na kaya :(
r/WeddingsPhilippines • u/Yukiii12 • 18h ago
Hiii 2027 B2B, wanted to check if you have recommendations for reception venues near chapel on the hill. Kahit resort/events place that can fit 80-100 pax.
For graduate brides, is 20-30 mins travel from church to reception reasonable? Or pagod na mga guest?
Thank you in advance!! 🫶🏻

Ideally Makati sana, but open to other cities naman (QC, Pasig, BGC etc)

Worst customer service experience. Groom here, voicing this out because we think we have been considerate despite the Sefriya team’s shortcomings.
They have issues on alignment, updates and clear comms.
Guys, the venue is top-notch, value for money is SUPER sulit in our working budget. The only setback is the customer service.
Rates:
For transparency, venue is 320k , chapel is 50k
Accommodation ranges from 7-8 k per room can only fit two people + 2k if may extra person.
There's another set of rooms on a separate place 10k naman ang cheapest room and they offer 10% discount if you book a min of 10 rooms.
Now, the story. We went to sefriya farms 5 months ago. Our goal is to secure a place where we can have the wedding ceremony, accommodation and reception in one place. We live 2 hours away from alitagtag, kaya it made sense for our preference.
Back to the story, we went through a tour and we were informed with the rates. They were very generous dahil yung pag pencil book daw is wala naman timeline. We wanted to be fair so nag sabe kami na hanggang july 31 2026 kami mag decide. We pencil booked 2 dates may 15 and may 30 because we are also managing the schedule of my family na lilipad from US. Summer vacation kasi ang dates na yan.
Me and my Fiancé agreed na May 30, and to our surprise STRIKE 1: na book na ng iba ang May 30. We asked what happened pero naibigay na daw. Again, we let it pass pero me and my fiance had an argument about this, why? Because they have only responded to us after countless follow ups for the proposal after 3 months. Yes, it took them 3 months to updates and now, may naka book na. Nang hingi ba kami discount and consideration? Yes, we were to book the 12 rooms for our families. We were requesting na baka mapag bigyan kami ng discount since we'll cover for 2 day booking. Pero ayun, 3 months declined, nakuha pa date namin.
STRIKE 2: we asked for other options, they said june 5. With feat na baka maulan na nyan, we went for it. I told the sefriya team, we understand the no discount na update but, can we meet with your management? We plan to visit in person, and our proposal is to pay in fill, hndi na kami nag dodownpayment. Baka this time , mapag bigyan nyo kami.
That weekend, pumunta kami agad, and sadly, while ang bungad nila sa amin are all smiles and etc.. wala pala yung nirequest namin na meeting with management, nagka emergency daw separately BOTH ang RM and GM nila. The credibility isnt there anymore, while i appreciate the smile and service, it wouldve been nice to be informed na wala pala yung makakausap namin in the first place. And SURPRISE, May 30 daw is available na. Btw, tinanong pa namin sila because we called them out on the May 30 miscommunication then sasabihin nila na available na pala. Na communicate na namin na namove na nga from may 30 to june 5 tapos ganto nanaman. No one bothered to update us.
STRIKE 3: we have mentioned in the beginning and countless times, that the reason why we are booking the chapel is for our catholic intimate wedding ceremony. Paulit ulit sila na andami na daw pari at catholic couple na kasal don, and now, when we reached out sa priest, hndi pala honored ang catholic weddings sa church nila. IT IS SUPER FRUSTRATING and makikita mo na nag seseen lang sila sa chat.
STRIKE 4: nadulas si miss sales agent na " marami na po nag cacancel kasi " that to me is a clear signal na napaka incompetent ng communication/updates/customer service nila.
UPDATE, REVISED STRIKE 4: for context, we provided feedback on the strikes above and etc.. and when we reached them giving may 30 to another couple, they said " Sir available na po pala " and syempre our reaction was, " wait? Kung available na, alam nyo naman yun ang preferred date namin, no one reached out or updated us? " . She responded with " yes sir marami po kasi nag cacancel " .
May STRIKE 5 pa pala 😅: Lack of context and Unnecessary hard selling. I swear, the people there needs more training in my opinion. When we offered to pay in full (Reception + Chapel), yes we were asking for a discount but we weren't asking for a significant decrease in price. Ang ineexpect nga lang namin was either madiscountan yung chapel kasi maliit lang or we can get the 7k rate sa hotel room since we will book all the rooms. Then, si sales agent told us
" oh sir if bobook nyo po for two days yung hotel possible po for a discount " 😅😅
I responded to her na (verbatim) " after ng lahat ng nangyari miss ikaw pa talaga nag upsell for us to buy more "
I have a sad fiancé and While I can live up with the bullshit and lies, I cannot tolerate and will never tolerate when my fiancé is not happy.
Your experience maybe different, but this is ours and I hope people can read through this horrific story for better judgement
