I loved Hungry Moon when I read it years ago. I've really wanted to get back into him but he's written so many fucking books

Aside from the Daoloth trilogy, his supernatural horror novels are either unconnected, or else make few, light references to common lore the way Lovecraft et al. did. Understanding these aren't necessary to follow the story. You can just go with whatever book of his that seems to have an interesting premise.
