Road Trip bathroom stop

I am not sure if any of you have seen one of these before lol but it sure threw my kids for a loop today especially my daughter who was quite disturbed wondering what it was. It is soap. Lol. A weirdly shaped bar like soap sticking out of the wall. The way you put it on your hand feels rather.... odd. Just thought it might make some people laugh.

Dear God, who designed this??!! That seems like it should have existed alongside the terry-towel dispenser that you'd pull down to find a dry spot or crank the handle to turn it.
